The summit 2012.
A reunion of all ten of the 'Mennonite Girls Can Cook' team.
We had our first summit in 2010.
And our second in 2011.
I think we should just make it an annual event!
Betty and Charlotte came out from back east.
Ellen drove up from the south.
And what a fine time we had together yesterday...
from morning until late at night.
We hung out at Bev's for the day...
and enjoyed a wonderful lunch together.
For dinner...
we had a fabulous Mongoli Grill at Marg's.
The guys came out and joined us for the evening.
They were invited.
These two were not...
but came regardless!
Can you tell we had fun?
And this morning...
we are meeting for breakfast before we all go our separate ways.
The summit 2012...
it was a good place to be!
Oh my, it looks like you had fun, with good weather as well and even with the 2 that peeked in over the fence! Dairymary
ReplyDeleteThose two really want to be part of the team - I think you should make them a project!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like your Summit was a lot of fun and good-eating!
What a great picture of all of you wonderful women!!! The "party crashers" just wanted to have fun too....so funny.
ReplyDeleteSuper photo! You are all so photogenic. This just looks like a lot of fun. Have you thought of spending a weekend together in 2013? I imagine new plans were discussed and a review of where the Lord has brought you and done through you. Many blessings to you all!
ReplyDeleteWe are beginning to expect those 2 "Oule Mumchas" to crash our parties and have to admit they bring much laughter - if only we had a video you could hear how funny they are.
ReplyDeleteThanks girls for being such wonderful blog partners and friends. Our summits are always greatly anticipated and thoroughly enjoyed. God has truly blessed us in this venture and the best part is the warm and supportive bond of friendship that has grown among us.
Wonderful group shot! It sounds like you are having a fun time. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteThose Russians...they always pop out of the woodwork!

ReplyDeleteWhat a blessed group you all are!
You all look so wonderful and it looks like the weather cooperated beautifully! Were those univited guests carrying bread? :)
