Before...
dinner...
after....
...and to all a good night!
Why is it that there is so much time spent of the 'before' and the 'after'...while the actual event flies by in 'no time'? We had a good evening...celebrated Lisa's birthday and a bit of an early Christmas. The kids were so much fun! Emme and Spencer sang a long song for us...and did a great job. But the evening was over so quickly...and soon they were all on their way out the door! Until next time....
I'm off to see the girls perform in the grade one choir at their school Christmas concert. Have a good day!
Happy birthday Lisa - looks like a great family party. The four cousins dressed in their Christmas jammey's singing in the balcony -- adorable!! Martha
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that beautiful picture of your table. I know all about the warmth, love, and effort that goes into making your home a place a place of comfort and a source of energy that ignites between the siblings.
ReplyDeleteIt's all about making memories. I love the pictures with the kids in their new PJ's
I'm making your buns today!!
What a sweet picture of the girls all in their flannel jammies. It appears that you all enjoyed a wonderful, memory building evening. That's the stuff that life is made of.
ReplyDeleteYes, I really did step in it today, didn't I?! LOL!
Sounds like a fantabulous evening! (we thought t deserved that word!)

Absolutely adorable photos! There were 5 of us growing up together and we always got matching pj sets at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHow lucky your grand-daughters are to share your childhood tea set with you. The ties that bind the generations!
Having an indoor and outdoor (on the porch) tree is the perfect answer to the fake or real debate. It's lovely to have one inside to decorate and one (partly) outside to enjoy in it's more natural state.
If I don't have a chance to write you again, Merry Christmas!!
