voting for starbucks...

It was election day in the US...as we travelled south on interstate #5 all day. The good news was that Starbucks was willing to keep us fueled up on coffee for the long trip...at no cost to us!

It seems that the plan had been to reward all who voted by giving them free coffee on election day...but when that was deemed unconstitutional, Starbucks proclaimed they would provide free coffee to all!

So we enjoyed Starbucks coffee in Washington State...and again in Oregon...without a twinge of guilt. After all...we would have voted had we been allowed!

We are continuing on our journey south...and we'll be paying for our coffee today!

  1. Wish that you could've voted. I mean, after all, Mickey Mouse did, at least twice!

  3. I suspect that you are more informed about the issues than Mickey Mouse and many of the other voters. But fair is fair - you already voted last month! Travel safely!

  4. If only starbucks knew how unfaithful you were to them when you were to them when you're in your own country. If there'd been a tim hortons beside the starbucks, you'd probably have gone and paid for a coffee instead.

(Starbucks actually gave away free coffee all day??...wow.)

  13. I have gone off Starbucks over here and changed over to Costa. Maybe I would go if it was free though. Many Starbucks are closing here.
