perfect peace

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth
peace...good will toward men.
Luke 2:14

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace...
whose mind is stayed on thee...
because he trusteth in thee.
Isaiah 26:3

As the year draws to a close...and we enter a new one...may we exchange our fears for God's peace.

  1. He is the only way. We just need believe and trust.

  3. It is so easy to trust when all is well. . .it is when we are afraid that we truly need to believe that God is all that he said he is.. . I couldn't agree more, let us consider all this as the year comes to a close.

  4. Lovely sentiment, Judy. Wishing you a new year that is both fear-less and peace-ful.

  5. Such beautiful snow - real white Christmas. Loved enlarging your photos, especially the snow scene looking over to your neighbours and the family one where yes the thermos is intriuging - secret drinker one could deduce!

  6. I commented to John that that spot looks like the perfect place for a winter picnic.

Amen to trading our fears for His peace. It's the only way to live this life with any joy.

Thank you for all the wonderful Sunday posts that you've done through 2008; I'm looking forward to the ones that you'll do in 2009.

  7. That's another one of those keeper verses. I will set that verse in my heart with the candle every morning.
Looking forward to the New Year.

  8. your picture alone looks so peaceful....and when all is well then it is easy to be at peace....the real test is to trust Him when we really need to and we are facing a mountain...that is a true hope of mine to keep trusting Him and seeking His peace throughout the new year!

  9. Just beautiful Judy....lovely winter photo..

May the Lord bring to all of us a bright new year with hopes and dreams to be fulfilled....
