Star of Bethlehem

As you can see...I walked right past the blue and purple specimens and picked out my favorite ivory plant from among a sea of poinsettias.

How is it that the poinsettia became the favoured flower of this season?
It is symbolic of the 'Star of Bethlehem'...
the star that was the guiding light for the shepherds and the wise men and led them to Jesus.

"I am the Root and Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."
Revelation 22:16

Jesus is our 'Bethlehem Star'...He is our guide day by day, if we only follow.
Let's not be too busy this advent season to focus on Him...that's what Christmas is all about.
Blessings,

  1. Amen! I just found a card in last year's batch that has the most wonderful message. I must post it before week's end.

You have snow before me! Your home looks lovely in its white blanket. By tomorrow, I should be in the thick of it, too.
