still waiting....

Another day is dawning...and we are still waiting.

We have been near a phone at all times for the past few days...and are ready to make a quick trip into the big city...but the call has not yet come.

I just want to thank all of you so much for your thoughts and prayers and messages of love. For those of you who are not aware...our little granddaughter whose arrival we await, has Trisomy 13. Kris and Lisa have not been given much hope that she will be spending much time here on earth. So it is a difficult time...but we know it is in God's hands.

While we wait...

  1. God has not promised skies always blue, flower-strewn pathways all our lives through; God has not promised sun without rain, joy without sorrow, peace without pain.

But God has promised strength for the day, rest for the labor, light for the way, grace for the trials, help from above, unfailing sympathy, undying love. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

  3. If you remember when you see them, please give Kris and Lisa each a big hug for me. I'd give you one, too, but it will have to wait till I next see you.

  4. The joy and hope that only God can bring can be as steady as the sunrise even when the happenings around us are changing from wonderful to tragic.

    Sticking by....

  5. The only thing I can say is I know that God is in control. This does not make it easy, but what a better place to be than under the shadow of His wing at such a time as this. Oh how He loves you all. Praying for you and your family today.

  7. Oh Judy,
Everytime I woke up last night I wondered and prayed.

. .. strength for today .. and hope for tomorrow .. great is thy faithfulness Lord unto us.

  8. Adding my prayers to these others....may the Lord sustain and comfort and hold the parents and your soon-to-be-born granddaughter close to His heart...we know He does.
