the end of the road...

We arrived at the end of the road.
Mile 0 of Highway 101...
at Lund, B.C.

We have two options.
Return the way we came...
or stay!

To stay awhile is most tempting!
But we must get home.

There are birthdays to celebrate this weekend...
and books to sign.

Speaking of signing books.
If you happen to live in my neighbourhood...
stop by the Ten Thousand Villages booth at the MCC relief sale this weekend and say 'hi'.
The Mennonite Girls Can Cook team will be there.

Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Looks like a beautiful end of the road. Glad you made it. Have fun this weekend.

  2. Such a lovely journey! The western part of our country has to be added to my "to see" list!

  3. I've enjoyed the trip and I hope that you and Elmer have a lovely one home as well. Not much stopping I take it at this point. The call home is clear and loud.

  4. Sure wish you girls could come to Georgia! :-)

  5. I was wondering if you'd be back. We are such a committed bunch!

  6. You two get to the nicest places - and are so nice to take us with you.
The weather is supposed to be good through the weekend, so there should be a good turn out for the sale.

  7. I have enjoyed following your little trip. Glad to know that your hubby is going to have you back in time for the signing.......see you there!

  8. It looks like you had a very lovely trip -- safe journey home!

  9. Glad you are home safe again.
Looking forward to uniting again tonight. Cheers

  10. It looks like a beautiful place to stop and stay awhile.

  11. That is a lovely end of the road! It would be very tempting to stay.

I'm so happy the MCCG's are doing so well with the cookbook too! Congratulations to all of you.

  12. Hoping to hear from you soon my friend...heard of the earth quake and thought of so many blogger's I follow from that area..Praying all is well with you and yours...

    Big Hugs!

  13. I will have to look up Lund on Mapquest. I am familiar with 101 in Washington, Oregon, and California but didn't know it started in BC. I wonder how far north...I'll look it up!

  14. Sounds like you have a little fun road trip over there!
