I went to the Santa Claus Parade last weekend to cheer on my granddaughter, Emme...
and had hoped to get a photo.
Of course!
At the moment she passed by...
my camera batteries died.
The picture was in my memory only!
What should arrive on my doorstep yesterday...
but a picture of the Vertical Zone skipping team in Saturday's parade...
featured on the front page of the local paper.
Emme is easy to spot...
front and centre with her foot above her head!
Thanks to Jenna Hauck...
I now have a photo!
Oh, goodness. That just gave me a chill to think you received that priceless gift. (I am very big on preserving memories)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photos! I just knew that was your gal, front and centre!

You are just the best skipper Emme! I know you have won awards. You showed us again what you can do. Great Photo.

ReplyDeleteHow great to get the photo you missed. And so many more people could enjoy it too! Love the high kick! Way to go, Emme. I think I'd fall over.
ReplyDeleteHow perfect for you!
ReplyDeleteHow fortunate for all, Judy! A wonderful keepsake for Emme as it is a thrill to be on the front page of a newspaper for something as nice as this!
ReplyDeleteAnd a wonderful one at that! That Emme is right full of energy. Find her something to do quick!
ReplyDeleteThat is so great! I'm glad you got your picture!
ReplyDeleteHow cute she is! Oh to be young! If I tried to kick that high now I'd probably put myself in the hospital. LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how sometimes just the right people come into your life just at the right time and how much better when it's unexpected!
ReplyDeleteNow, that is the best way to get a photo! What a nice surprise! (especiallly after what you said about your battery dying and not getting a shot.)
