Well...the grands seem to think it is!
We have enjoyed a few beautiful spring days...
with sunshine and warm temperatures.
It seemed like the perfect opportunity to have the first wiener roast of the season.

It seemed like the perfect opportunity to have the first wiener roast of the season.
We sent out the invitation...
and those who were free...
...and Maggie brought her chair with protection from the sun!
While the rest roasted their smores...
Lucy was raiding the marshmallow bag.
No it is not summer!
But it was certainly nice to be outdoors last night.
The weatherman tells us it will be very warm for Easter Sunday.
We might just be having our Easter dinner on the patio this year.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
I note that some are warmer than others... =D
ReplyDeleteEaster dinner on the patio sounds delightful. Hope that warm weather is heading our way eventually.
That is amazing Judy. It looks wonderful to see everyone enjoying their first bonfire of the season. Now if some of that warmth would just fly over the mountains, across the prairies, central Canada....Oh well. It's still only March. It will come soon.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was certainly warm yesterday, what a lovely change from last week! And the full moon has been gorgeous. The weiner roast looked like a fun time.
ReplyDeleteWow - it almost looks like summer there for sure! What a great way to enjoy the nice weather. Happy Easter to all.....
ReplyDeleteNot possible here, with bitingly cold winds.
ReplyDeleteI've often wondered what s'mores are?
Oh boy, maybe we'll be barbecuing on Easter?? Sounds good to me!
ReplyDeleteLove your first roast of the season.
What a perfect idea..Give a call and offer food and it does not take long for a get together...Enjoy the warm sunny weather.
ReplyDeleteYes! Let's take advantage of the nice weather while we can - love that some of the grands embraced the idea to the extreme - shorts and bare feet! Brrr. Easter dinner on the patio sounds wonderful - will it really be that warm? We can only hope.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed seeing your green grass and got a kick out of one of your grands wearing shorts! Looks like you had a fun family gathering around the fire pit. Liked your fire pit style, we're planning on doing one too and not sure what ours will look like, so many different kinds out there.
ReplyDeleteLoved the pic with the Easter egg tree blowing sideways with the wind and snow. You are very good with your camera Judy.
Happy Easter my friend...
I had to laugh at that chair with, as you put it, protection from the sun... I automatically saw it as protection from rain. Ha! Shows where we live!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a fine Sping there, Judy! We will have a mild Easter but I don't think all our backyard snow will have melted by then!
ReplyDeletesuch fun! our kids always loved a campfire!
ReplyDeleteWhat a GRAND time y'all had!!! Such a beautiful family! The scenery and weather were extra perks!
ReplyDeleteI heard that the temperature could soar as high as 18 in your valley this weekend. I wish that for you!
ReplyDeleteI love celebrating the sunshine we are having right now! Such great photos Judy. Your family is precious..ever so precious.
ReplyDeleteYour family makes such fun memories together! Ones to cherish for sure!
ReplyDeleteThis post certainly put me in the spirit of Spring and Summer. I can see by their faces that they were so excited to be included in this fun event. I do hope you have Easter meal on the porch, and even more I hope you share pictures of it with us.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Judy, to you and your beautiful family!
Superb blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers?
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping to start my own blog soon but I'm a little lost on everything.
Would you advise starting with a free platform like Wordpress or
go for a paid option? There are so many options out there
that I'm totally overwhelmed .. Any recommendations? Cheers!
