Even the birthday cake that a friend surprised me with was an Olympic treat...an appropriate cake for 2010. I'm quite willing to share...so feel free to stop by and have a slice of yumminess with me.
My girls took me out for lunch yesterday...
...to our favorite little bakery/tea shoppe. We had us a fine time...
...and since I left my Olympic sized cake at home in the fridge...I was forced to try a lemon square for dessert. How sweet it was!
And what could beat having a bouquet of flowers delivered to the door...by a most precious grandson? I've been more than a little spoiled over here the past few days.
Apeldoorn's is great! In fact, we had lunch there yesterday, too. :)
ReplyDeleteNothing more beautiful than spending time with the girls...I love the last photo the best. Birthdays should be everyday....
ReplyDeleteCould not of fit better.
we thought that was you when we were there; one of our favorite places as well. happy birthday!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat and that last pic in priceless!
ReplyDeleteThe coconut "snow" on the cake was a great added touch!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet!! A perfect celebration! That lemon square looks lucious - they're my favourite.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! No better way to spend it than with beautiful daughters. (I have two, so I know:)
ReplyDeleteThat lemon square looks good and is a favorite of mine. What a fun time! And the little guy with the bouquet was icing on the day!

That's an amazing cake! Your friend did herself proud. What a lovely group of gals out for lunch. (Makes me wish that my daughter and daughter-in-law were into this kind of thing. They're not. Neither of them.)
ReplyDeleteAnd oh what sweet flowers and the delivery boy is even sweeter.
Milk it, Judy. Don't go back to work one second sooner than you must.
Say, I've been meaning to ask...what's going to happen with the Olympics if the weather doesn't get worse? :D
Fabulous! May the spoiling continue!! That cake is great!!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen such a young cute flower deliverer! Dairymary
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fabulous birthday! And I can't get enough of Ryder's cuteness! He's the sweetest little guy :)
ReplyDeleteYou deserve it all Judy! Hope it continues even longer ;-)

Oh what an absolutely charming time with your girls. The best outing ever for a mom! And the flower delivery by your handsome grandson, who is my favorite little boy in blogland I must say!
ReplyDeleteBelated birthday wishes to you, Judy. It looks like you had a wonderful day with your daughter and daughter-in-laws. The place you had lunch at looks like a perfect spot for a girl's lunch. Your little flower delivery man is so cute. It must have melted your heart when he showed up bearing that pretty bouquet.
