and then there were ten...

We started off our long weekend of book-launch celebrations with a book-signing at Grand Pappy's Home Furniture yesterday afternoon.

The seven of us that live in the Fraser Valley showed  up...
donned our aprons...
and signed away.

And who should make a surprise appearance...
but Betty, all the way from Manitoba!

We got so busy meeting and greeting...
we needed to be reminded to pick up our pens and sign our name on occasion.

How fun to meet locals who have been reading the MGCC blog regularly...
and came out to introduce themselves.

And 'thank-you' to Brandy of Grand Pappy's for hosting us!

We're looking forward to the next few days.
Ellen arrives from Seattle today...
and Charlotte from Winnipeg...
and then all ten of us will be together.
We are having a little big celebration tonight!
On Saturday we'll be signing books...
On Monday evening you will find us at House of James from 7-9.
Come on out and say 'hi'.

Wishing all you mom's a wonderful Mother's Day!
