Simple. Local. Fresh. Dairy.

I just have to share one other wee story about our time in Lillooet.   As we were about to leave town, we stopped by their main grocery store to pick up some fruits and veggies for our lunch...which we planned to have at a picnic site on the way home.   We were paying for our purchases and glanced at the flyer lying at the check-out till.  On the first page was an ad for milk...local, natural, and fresh..featuring a few very familiar faces!

We left with our groceries...and a handful of  Buy-Low Foods flyers.   I'm thinking the photo was taken from a milk promotional video clip which featured Jeremy and the girls last summer.  Doesn't that just make you want to go out and buy milk?

Enjoy the day...
(and have a glass of milk!)

  3. Well. Wasn't that a serendipitous moment! What a fun souvenir to bring home from Lillooet.

Coincidentally, I'm drinking some milk as I sit by my computer this morning.

  6. How fun to look up and see that! Did you have to share that this was your son and granddaughters? I would have! Nothing like a tall glass of cold milk...just had one for supper...enjoyed it thoroughly.

  7. What a great picture and surprise to see it as you travelled. I'm with Vee and would have made sure to tell everyone in the store who those famous people were!!!

  10. Your mother and grandmother heart must have skipped a beat when you saw that poster. Enough to make you drink an extra glass of chocolate milk when you got home. So cute!
