a postcard from Missouri...

We had a leisurely drive through the Ozarks yesterday...
working our way west through Missouri.

The sun was shining...
the leaves are turning...
the company was good!

We stayed off the main highway...
and enjoyed the old homesteads and barns along the roads less traveled.

It seems everyone is into hunting in this part of the country...
and camouflage clothing is the fashion of choice.

We plan to spend some time in Branson...
where we are camped out at the KOA.
Of course!

  1. What a beautiful photo of these barns. I'm glad the hunters here have to wear hunter orange. At least we can see them in the woods and along the roadsides and fields! Have fun in Branson. I hear it's a great place to visit. Blessings, Pam

  6. I am sure the scenery is better on the back roads of this country. Branson is one of the places we hope to visit in the near future. I look forward to each postcard.
