of laughter and friends...

We were at a dinner party over the weekend...
at the home of good friends.
Just in case we ran out of things to talk about (like that would ever happen)...
we were each given a question to respond to.

I was to share where I go when I need a good laugh.

That was easy to answer.
I go and spend time with good friends.
Their laughter is contagious!

Just as lotions and fragrance give sensual delight,
a sweet friendship refreshes the soul.
Proverbs 27:9 The Message

So true.
Solomon knew whereof he spoke!

  2. Joy that spills over into laughter...with loved ones....I am just now thinking there is nothing more precious on earth.
How funny to think it is something that can not be weighed or measured, bought or sold yet can be gathered and kept in one's heart forever...for free!

  11. Laughter is the best medicine, especially when accompanied with good friends and good food. I like the question idea. I found that is a great way to learn more about each other.

  12. We take such pleasure in hosting our friends and consider it a privilege. And being invited to someone else's home is a much appreciated gift. Friendship and hospitality should never be held lightly but should be celebrated at every opportunity.
