Finally.
The hydrangeas are in their glory!
Everything is a little late here this year...
so I have been waiting.
They make the best cut arrangements...
and will keep on 'keeping on' right into the fall.
My favorite?
The limelight hydrangea.
It is not blooming as yet.
Soon!
Flowers can brighten any day.
Love your assortment of hydrangeas Judy. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow! They add so much when blooming. I'm wondering how you get all the variety in color since the soil conditions determine color... Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteI have never seen such a beautiful array of hydrangeas!!! If I was driving by your house I think I would have to stop to admire and take pictures too. Absolutely stunning Judy!
ReplyDeleteWow! What gorgeous hydrangeas. I've never seen a hedge like this before. It is so colourful around your home's foundation. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGreat foundation planting! Every morning it must be a treat to stand away from your house to enjoy the flower trim. Just lovely.
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have planted a hedge of them. Mine are blooming too and I also have been loving them this year. Limelight has buds. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely range of colours your Hydrangeas have. It is a very Cornish plant so most of the gardens here have at least one bush. Ours are flowering profusely now.
ReplyDeleteOh Judy, Hydrangeas are my absolute favorite. They don't do well here in the Phoenix heat. But every year, I buy a couple when they show up around Easter and do my best to figure out how to keep them alive. I always fail. But the next Spring, failure forgotten, I try again! What a beautiful border for your home!
ReplyDeleteThat is one GORGEOUS hedge, Judy. I can imagine the beautiful bouquets you are cutting now. The colors are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteMy limelights started blooming last week.
Wow - what an amazingly beautiful hedge! Thanks for sharing the photos!
ReplyDeleteI was reminded of the little card you gave me and hope you are just as "hedged" by friendships all around. Your hydrangea hedges are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAhh! I've been waiting for you to post about your hydrangeas! Every morning that I drive by after my walk I admire them. So gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful morning greeting...your hydrangeas are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI'm still wondering what is the secret to make them so stunning in cut arrangements?
Wow...they are beautiful! Our biggest bush only had a few blooms this year. Not sure what happened, but I was very disappointed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely variety you have. I like the way you have them banked around the house. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteHydrangeas are so pretty; I love the variety that you have.
ReplyDeleteHow absolutely beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteCheers
What a beautiful sight! First the hostas - GIANT hostas - and now a riot of wonderful colour from the hydrangeas. Everything grows beautifully around your porch!
ReplyDeleteSpectacular! I love hydrangeas.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gifted gardener you are! Is there any area of daily life where you are not gifted? Absolutely beautiful hydrangeas!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! I love my hydrangeas - they're probably the best flower investment I've ever made. They give me beautiful blooms from the first of July right until fall. I dried some as well but the blue ones turned a rather muddy brown colour. Not quite as pretty as I had hoped. Which ones do you dry?
ReplyDeleteYour hydrangea hedge is gorgeous! I love the variety of colors.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!!
