time for ice-cream...

Summertime is upon us.
It's time to eat ice-cream with reckless abandon!

An ice-cream cone can solve any problem...
even if only for a few minutes.

My advice to you is not to inquire why or whither,
but just enjoy the ice-cream while it's on your plate.

A balanced diet is an ice-cream cone in each hand!

And if you don't get your full fix of ice-cream in the summertime...
I know from a reliable source that an ice-cream cone at Christmastime is a good thing as well!

I'm joining up with Vee's note card party today...
posting four pictures that have appeared on this blog sometime in the past.

  2. What sweetness! All the way around. I'm wondering what flavor Ranen's cone is. It's so very blue... I'm getting a kick out of seeing the twins look so little. And that Ryder guy? Always a cutie pie!

  14. Christmas time or anytime the weather is cold is my favorite time to eat ice cream. Cold weather allows you to savor the flavor, without rushing to catch the drips.

  20. I agree with you and love the photos of the children enjoying their cones. The farmer has invented his own version of maple walnut this summer. He tops vanilla ice cream with walnuts and pancake syrup, It's an easy summertime dessert.

  23. This was a sweet way to join in Vee's party, Judy! Do you remember the old childhood chant of "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!" ? Those cones look good!
