A simple and meaningful gift from a friend.
But I had my camera with me...
...and decided to take a picture or two.
The field of weeds...
...was actually quite beautiful!
“I am beginning to learn that it is the sweet,
simple things of life which are the real ones after all.”
Laura Ingalls Wilder
My grandson usually has the biggest of smiles!
When I saw his passport picture...
it was me that smiled!
Is that not the sweetest passport photo?
I think he had a hard time keeping the smile off his face!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend...
filled with sweet things.
May you have many reasons to smile.
Lots of sweet things in this post - love the passport photo.
ReplyDeleteThat field of weeds yielded sweet honey - amazing, isn't it?
His expression is priceless, and the photo shows him to be adorable.
ReplyDeleteLove the clover and the honey and Scripture.
Love that passport photo! So cute. I also love the shots of those weeds! Beauty all around for us to enjoy...
ReplyDeleteSweet indeed!
Do they not allow smiles on passport photos? That little guy is the cutest with all those curls.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you're finding beauty in a field of weeds...lovely they are, too.
The honey must have been a gift. Another sweet idea.
Vee...no smiling for Canadian passport photos! And if a wee smirk creeps in, you must have a photo re-take. Are Americans allowed to be friendly for their passports?
DeleteSweet post!
ReplyDeleteNow that little guy has character! How cute!
ReplyDeleteHoney is a very sweet gift, the clover looked so healthy and tall, and the very best photo of all is your darling grandson looking so serious for his passport photo! I see so much of your husband's face in his.
ReplyDeleteOh yes...I smiled too! Love this post. Sweet!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet indeed ~ the gift and the passport photo.
ReplyDeleteThat was a sweet post - every which way!
ReplyDeleteLove the clover pictures but the one of your dear grandson is just adorable. I love his sweet curls. Your header is beautiful! (I think I forgot to tell you that.) Have a great weekend. Pamela
ReplyDeleteLovely gift & beautiful grandchild! Children should always smile, passport or not! It is a beautiful photo of him though! Your new header is stunning too!
ReplyDeleteYes, we Americans can blast a big smile in our passport photo. No winking though.
ReplyDeleteHe looks so serious...adorable!
ReplyDeleteThat was a lovely gift. It is always nice to be remembered.
ReplyDeleteYou made a field of weeds look like pages from a magazine. Pretty gifts like you received, can be a highlight of one's day.
ReplyDeleteAs for the little guy, his serious look just made me smile.
