they are at it again...

I drove by the farmyard on my way to town yesterday...
and saw the country candy store was back in business once again.

 (Emme, Spencer...and their next-door-friend)
It started when they were four years old.
Emme and Spencer set up a candy store on the farmyard and sold surplus Easter goodies...
to unsuspecting customers.
Customers like Grandpa.
Since then they have recruited local help...
and expanded their business.
They have moved it to the road...
and lure in the sweet teeth passing by.
They are open on sunny summer afternoons.
If there is nothing better to do!
So...if you are in my neighbourhood...
be forewarned.

As for me...
I won't be stopping by the sweet shoppe today.
I'm off to 'the summit 2012'.
What fun we will have!

  1. What a sweet set-up! Love the banner. Love the smiles and Emme's engaging head-tilted grin. Hope they do well. I'd be a customer if I were there...

Now you have a blessed and wonderful day!

  3. That little store has come along way - it's beautiful and although the booth and its banners are lovely, it's the smiles that will draw in customers!

  6. They're very enterprising. I foresee a takeover from a big store lateer in life!

  8. I can't believe they aren't hawking your MGCC cookbook. Just seem like the perfect companion product to offer.

  9. If I lived there, I would probably stop every day to feed my sweet tooth. Sounds like grandpa is doing a good job.

  10. I sure do wish I could live in the neighborhood. I would love to stop at such a cute, well thought out stand. You guys are great at the grandparenting roles that you play.
