As we passed from one state to the next...
I tried to capture the state road sign.
Some are a little blurry...
a few are not exactly a billboard...
but all show that we were there.
Twenty-one states in three weeks.
Right now...
Right now...
I'm not sure I could pass a test as to what I saw in each state!
Tomorrow we are flying home...
and the road trip will be continued at a later date.
We are leaving the RV in storage in Pennsylvania...
and once the fall cropping is done back home...
we plan to carry on where we left off.
More states.
More signs.
More adventures.
It's a fun way to see the U.S. of A.
Wow, you have seen a lot of places! An interesting collection of signs.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea for your collage. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of miles and sights to see! Sorry you missed the one that says "Maine: the way life should be!" ;D
ReplyDeleteSure makes a great collage this.
This is great Judy!! Love that you're going back later to "carry on". What a great way to see the country. Maybe you can end up somewhere very warm at the end of your trip and stay awhile? Hope you can hit the ground running for the fever pitch of the harvest - or at least it's like that around here during harvest time!?
ReplyDeleteIn awe of the vacation, and the break midway. Kind of like how we come home mid vacation to feed the cats, only on a much grander scale!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, how many US states have you visited in your life? You must be getting close to having seen all 50 of them by now.
ReplyDeleteYours is one blog I read every day...one day we hope to become RV'ers as well. Love your writing and information about places you've been! It would be great to have you share RVing tips - RV parks, Laundromats, meals, tips in general if you feel so inclined at any time...
ReplyDeleteSo much fun and so much country. You are blessed to be able to do this and to return and finish the trip later. Can't wait for you to share your stories and photos. Great collage! Blessings, Pam
ReplyDeleteLove your collage! Travelling like you have is definitely on my bucket list! So many beautiful places to see. Awesome that you get to pick up where you left off!
ReplyDeleteWow, I love your signs! I can't wait to see where you'll head to next when the harvest is done. If you come through AZ, let me know, I'd enjoy meeting you in person!
ReplyDeleteFabulous collage of where you have been! I'll have to show Katie this as her phone failed her time and time again trying to capture the welcome to signs. She did manage to get Colorado...
ReplyDeleteIt's something we often talked about doing in France. We still managed to see many areas, but not in one fell swoop.
ReplyDeleteI made a sign collage like this when we traveled across the USA last summer. It was a lot less states, than you traveled in , Judy! I look forward to when your trip resumes after cropping. In the meantime I'm sure you will be happy to see your family again, especially all your grands! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to see America, and the fact that you share it with the blogging world, is even more fun. What a blessing that you have someone special to do this adventure with. Looking forward to any pictures you share.
ReplyDeleteI'm particularly fond of the Montana sign :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great trip...I too take state sign photos :-)
Glad your home safe and sound...
Hugs!
That's a great collage, Judy. What a way to see the countryside of our neighbour. Hope you do another collage of the other half of the trip.
ReplyDeleteJudy, your signs remind me of my trip across the U.S. by bicycle many years ago (1987). I tried to stop and take a photo of the sign, or have someone take one of me beside the signs along the way. I remember that my tan and my beard improved as we traveled east. Great memories!
