Yesterday...we started off the day with breakfast in Ohio.
We had lunch in Pennsylvania...
and dinner in New York State.
In New York State...
we sailed right by the exits to Cuba...
and 'friendship'.
We had already spent some good time in 'friendship' while in Ohio.
We visited Keith and Lois...
our former pastor couple and friends..
from several decades ago.
We parked at their place for night...
and had breakfast together in the morning.
Friends are friends forever...
the welcome never ends!
From there we headed north...
and had a delightful time at the home of Amy...
who was the editor for both MGCC cookbooks.
We met her husband...
and her beautiful girls...
and enjoyed a wonderful dinner on their back porch.
How nice to have friends along the way!
Today we are following the trail to Vermont.
WOW! You are seeing it all...good for you!!
ReplyDeleteOh you are zipping along. How fun to visit with "old" friends! I'm sure that your former pastor and his wife were so happy to see you again.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful trip, Judy. So much of the area that you're now in is familiar to me and I'd love to see it again. I'll enjoy your postcards as they come! Safe travels!
ReplyDeleteI had to chuckle when I saw the exit for Bolivar... my parents were born in Bolivar, MO! I didn't know there was another one. Sounds like you're having a delightful trip!
ReplyDeleteI love it when you travel and share Judy!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post and photos. It sounds like a really enjoyable trip!
ReplyDeleteKeith looks the same as he did 25 years ago when he officiated at my wedding!
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking how not that many years ago Ohio meant nothing but a state I had to memorize in elelmentary school grade 5. Now we have that wonderful connection with Amy. Thanks for sharing the photos.
ReplyDeleteYou are really putting on the miles! Enjoy your travels and visits with friends both old and new.
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have such good connections along the way! Love it.

ReplyDeleteJust like you are being blessed by your visits with friends, they are being blessed that you took the time to stop and visit. Friends sure add to the joys of daily life.
