summertime, summertime...

School is out...
as of today!

Since two of the grands were graduating this year...
(from kindergarten...that is)
...we had a grand little celebration earlier this week.

And now the endless days of summer stretch before us.
Who knows what they will bring?

  2. What a beautiful photo and the baby is awake! May summer be filled with many memory-making moments and may many a summer day feature sun, too. (The sun is shining here at last.)

  7. You have shared so many wonderful pictures over the years, but this just might be my favorite of all time. It is obvious that there is a lot of love around this table.

  13. Beautiful photo! Better than many pro photographers get of a group of kids. Of course having jaw droppingly beautiful children and grandmother in a group does help!

Happy Summer to all of you ..let the sunshine fun and adventures be grand!

PS: how is your dad's recovery coming along?

  15. I love your tea parties!

Your schoold run longer than ours do. Here in Texas the kids go back in August. I am thinking y'all don't have to start until after Labor Day. That's the way we USED to do it when I was a child.

  17. I adore this photo! But what is the sweetist thing is how you adore your grandkids and take the time to do these things with them. They will cherish this forever. My kids just lost their grampa and what do they talk most about? ...all the things he did with them over the years and how he loved them uncondtionally. (you look amazing by the way)
