a postcard from the badlands...

We did four states in two days...Washington, Idaho, Montana and North Dakota. That's called power tripping!

We stopped at Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the Badlands of North Dakota.  Quite an amazing place!  Now we are in Fergus Falls, Minnesota...spending some time with family...who drove out from Iowa and Manitoba.

Until next time...

  3. What fun....very jealous! TRNP is one of my favorite places. My husband and I traveled 30 days across the USA in 1996, and then again with the kids and inlaws in 2010. Montana is our FAVORITE place....my goodness Glacier National Park is beautiful. In 2010 we had camper issues and didnt make it to Glacier, so sad! We came away from our trip respecting Native Americans that much more, especially for the amount of land that was snatched from them, and also we were amazed at places like the Badlands, and thought of all of the brave people who crossed those lands searching for a better life for their families.

    Have a lovely time.
