our visitor from heaven...

Our precious granddaughter, Hannah Shiloh, passed away peacefully yesterday evening...
we are so grateful that we had a chance to meet her!

A friend stopped by with some tulips and this beautiful poem a few days ago...

A Visitor From Heaven
~Twila Paris

A visitor from Heaven
If only for a while
A gift of love to be returned
We think of you and smile

A visitor from Heaven
Accompanied by grace
Reminding of a better love
And of a better place

With aching hearts and empty arms
We send you with a name
It hurts so much to let you go
But we’re so glad you came
We’re so glad you came

A visitor from Heaven
If only for a day
We thank Him for the time He gave
And now it’s time to say
We trust you to the Father’s love
And to His tender care
Held in the everlasting arms
And we’re so glad you’re there
We’re so glad you’re there

With breaking hearts and open hands
We send you with a name
It hurts so much to let you go
But we’re so glad you came
We’re so glad you came

  1. Judy, I am so sorry to hear your news. Yet there is much joy in sorrow and your visit yesterday with your precious grandchild was indeed a visit from heaven. What strength you exude. After the storm we weather there is a 'peace that passeth understanding' which we are given from above.

Our thots and prayers continue to be with you and your loved ones during this difficult time.

  4. Judy, your family's faith has been an incredible testimony to me. The song you posted is powerful. I am certain that other options were made available and yet Lisa and Kris followed the Lord's direction.

May this grieving season be visited with much comfort and even joy knowing that precious Hannah is completely whole and well in heaven.

The picture that you shared yesterday blessed me so much. You have six beautiful grandchildren. Four who are with you, one on the way, and one whose home is heaven.

    Blessings...

  6. If tears help bring healing --- healing has begun. What a difficult day for Kris and Lisa's families. Is there anything harder than the loss a child?? Oh the pain!!

    Love the name Hannah Shiloh.

    Love and Prayers.

  8. So sorry to hear of your loss! Baby Hannah was blessed to be born into such a wonderful loving family. I'll be praying for you and your loved ones. If you are interested, there is another family that has just recently gone through this experience with a trisomy 13 baby. Here is their blog link.

The grandmother's blog is listed in the friends links as well.

  17. My dear Judy...there are no words that can say enough or expressions of grief that can match yours...just take comfort that little Hannah is with her family in Heaven and being rocked by Angels...
