mighty to save

One of my favorite worship songs is Mighty to Save by Laura Storey. It's just a wonderful reminder that although there are many problems that we cannot fix...the God who moves mountains can! When all else is gone...all that is left is faith in God...and that is powerful.

Everyone needs compassion,
Love that's never failing,
Let mercy fall on me.

Everyone needs forgiveness,
The kindness of a Savior,
The hope of nations.

Savior...He can move the mountain,
My God is mighty to save,
He is mighty to save.
Forever...Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave.

So take me as you find me,
All my fears and failures,
Fill my life again.

I give my life to follow
Everything that I believe in
Now I surrender.

Shine your light and let the whole world see,
We're singing for the glory of the risen King.

My Savior, He can move the mountain,
My God is mighty to save,
He is mighty to save.
Forever, Author of salvation,
He rose and conquered the grave,
Jesus conquered the grave

I've been singing it all week...and I'm hoping we sing it in church this morning.

Have a blessed Sunday...

  4. This song is my church today Judy.
I will be taking that song with me over the next weeks. Add to your list, "TODAY". That has been my song since Sept.7. That's what keeps me going over the past months. And it has been sung twice, my first two weeks attending.

I took some similar pictures last night. Magnificent.
