Though the first day of winter is officially a whole month away...in reality, winter has arrived in our part of the world. Coffee, mocha and hot chocolate are the order of the day. We happen to have a 'hot beverage' machine over the barn...which is seeing a lot of use these days. I hear it makes a mean mocha...but I have yet to check out the barnyard coffee shop (after two years in business).
Tim Horton's has a new special...just in time for the season. It looks like everyone...and their dog...are checking it out.
I watched from inside while the dog placed an order at the drive-through wicket. Back seat drivers deserve hot chocolate as well!
Enjoy the day...and stay warm!
Even though I don't have a back seat driver, I can't believe how often I'm through the drive through at 2nd Cup to get myself a mocha - especially in this miserable cold weather. Love my mocha, extra hot, no topping please!
ReplyDeleteHot Chocolate Supreme? We watched The Polar Express last night because my mother hadn't seen it yet and was curious. She loved it. So your post reminds me of the Hot Chocolate Scene with the dancing waiters and amazing samovars with multiple spouts.
ReplyDelete♪ "Here we've only got one rule, never ever let it cool!" ♫
Enjoy your hot chocolate weather. I'll be looking for the hot chocolate supreme at my very next visit to Tim's.
that is so funny. What a timely shot of that "doggie in the window"
ReplyDeleteLove it. Stay warm today!
Our weather is still above freezing and I'm hoping it stays that way until December!
ReplyDeleteAfter looking at your post, Judy, I am tempted tpo put some whipped cream into my second cup of coffee :)
Judy, I happen to have been served a delicious Mocha while on tour at the Rosevalley Farm. You should give it a try. Your hubby served me! It was yummy!!
ReplyDeleteHow funny to see the dog in those photos. LOL
ReplyDeleteYes, winter has come to Montana too, enjoy your beauty that surrounds you.
Happy Thanksgiving Judy!
That looks exactly like my daughter and her dog....I have so many photos of her dog hanging out the car...
ReplyDeleteThey need a bit of everything. Now I'm wondering what to buy the dog for Christmas and where he should maybe sit at the table.
Our sheltie usually gets some of our sweet when we do too. So, man's best friend deserves at least that. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a great photo of the dog. We dont really have many drive thru's over here in the UK...shame!
ReplyDeleteLove the pic of the dog and the lady ordering at the drive thru:)
ReplyDeleteHot chocolate is one of the best parts of colder weather. And my oh my, we are having more than a taste of winter here - more like a huge gulp!
ReplyDeleteAren't those hot holiday drinks tempting when out running errands on a cold day?
ReplyDeleteOr at least until one learns their calorie count. Santa must have always been a regular customer. Jolly old fat guy in a red velvet suit=cute. Jolly old fat gal in a red velvet suit=not so much.
Love it!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, hot chocolate and coffee are the perfect way to survive the cold winter. This picture you shared brings me a smile this morning. What a life some dogs have:) Hope you stay warm.
ReplyDeleteYou obviously have a very talented dog!
