looking for snow in palm springs....

Today we our departing from our usual Palm Springs routine....

...the one that includes floating down the lazy river and reading a good part of the day!

Do you see all that snow up on the peaks?
We are heading down the highway today...
and up that very mountain...
to see what we can see.

The Palm Springs Tram to the top of Mt. San Jacinta is
Palm Springs most popular tourist attraction.

We thought it was high time we checked it out!
Today is the day.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

  1. That's an unusual sight to see...Palm trees and snowy mountain peaks in the same shot. So you just couldn't take all the warmth, eh? Ha! Beautiful photo of the two of you drifting down Lazy River together. Course you're two of the least lazy folks I know.

  7. That wouldn't be a bad routine at all, but you sure must have good sunscreen! You both look very good and not too brown. I'm glad to see that. Having had malignant melanoma, I never keep quiet about sunscreen but I can see I'm preaching to the choir here.

  8. I guess by now you've been to the top of the mountain so I'm eager to hear what all you saw up there.
I must say that lazy river looks mighty inviting.

  9. I don't know if I'd leave that lazy river for snow. But exploring is fun, too. Hope you're having a wonderful day (and staying warm).

  13. Ummm, isn't the whole point of being a snowbird avoiding the snow? You must really miss home! LOL.
I'd stick to the lazy river!
