Oh happy day...happy day!

Born on the same day, two gifts from above,
lives entwined, two babies to love.
~Author Unknown

Twice as much to love...
two blessings from above.

God touched our hearts so deep inside...
our special blessing multiplied.

Sisters are different flowers from the same garden.

All who would win joy, must share it;
happiness was born a twin.
~Lord Byron

So we grew together
Like to a double cherry, seeming parted,
But yet an union in partition,
Two lovely berries moulded on one stem...
~William Shakespeare

Life is two-riffic.

Not double trouble, but twice blessed.

A sister is a forever friend.

It's been one year since these 'forever friends' shared a birthday cake.

Today they will be sharing one again.
We are missing out on the fun...
but send our love.

We'll be home soon!

Happy 10th birthday,
Emerson and Spencer!

With Love....

  1. Okay, this one is nearly giving me heart palpitations. Ten? They're almost as tall as their mama! Hope that they have a fantastic birthday and that they get to celebrate with you soon.

  2. What sweeties!! I'm sure they'll have a fantastic birthday celebration - and then do it all over again when Grammy gets home! :) (it was always a secret little wish of mine to have twins - maybe I'll be doubly blessed as a grammie :)

  12. Oh, I know how happy double birthdays are to celebrate. You sure did a special tribute to these two adorable granddaughters of yours. What fun for you all to watch them grow older, and to observe the love and friendship they have with each other. By you not being around to celebrate, just gives them something more to look forward to, when you come home.

Enjoy your celebration when you return.
    Safe travels Judy....

  16. Wow! Ten years ago I'm sure life looked quite overwhelming to a certain new mommy! But now, to be on this end and see two beautiful girls who have brought so much life and joy to the family, must be very rewarding!
