roadblock...

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.
Proverbs 16:9 NLT

Our schedules do not always go as planned...things get in the way. I was one block away from my appointment...and right on schedule...and found myself stuck in a line-up with a train blocking the road. There was not a whole lot I could do...but wait! It's really easy to become irritated when we hit a roadblock....whether in the everyday appointments or in the grander scheme of things.

We all face roadblocks in life every so often. I'm dealing with a bit of one right now. But I am so thankful to have a personal tour guide...and I know He will direct me along the way. Ultimately, it is God who determines our steps.

  1. It's wonderful having our own personal guide. I'm so thankful for that. I am praying your roadblock opens up real soon and you find peace with what is going on in your life. Blessings, Heather

  2. You know, one might gather reading our Sunday posts that we check with each other before writing them...

  3. I like the way you've put that - a personal guide.
I hope your roadblock clears up soon. In the meantime, I hope you are able to 'be still' and know that you'll be guided safely through/around or wherever the right path is to be found.

  6. Oh the peace and the joy involved in knowing, without a doubt our Guide is faithful, reliable, and knows ALL. Roadblocks are becoming a normal part of life. My prayer is that I can keep remembering that it is always for a purpose. I liked this post.
