meet Nola....

As promised...
I am introducing you properly to my teeny new great-niece.

Meet Nola...
and her mommy, Lauren.

We showered her with cuddles and gifts over the weekend.
Could she be more perfect?

I think not.

She weighed in at 6lbs 7oz...
and carries the name Nola Claire.
Very sweet!

Oh...and there will be no action on 'My Front Porch' tomorrow...
as I am out of town with a whole busload of farmer's wives.
It will be some field trip!
I'll tell you all about it on Thursday.

  1. What a beautiful name for a very sweet baby girl.
Have a great time, Judy! I'll bet you'll have lots to share when you get back from your jaunt.

  2. She is a darling little girl with a sweet name. (I love the trend of returning to the "old-fashioned" names. Perhaps it would be better to say names that we recognize. Anyway, it's make the former new all over again and I really, really like that.)

    Have fun tomorrow!

  3. Sometimes I can get the tense right...apparently, not today. 8}

  4. Beautiful baby; I could melt! And what a lovely name!

  5. What a pretty little girl...and mother too! I do like her name, such a change from the TV type names.

  6. She is so precious. Well-loved, too.

Have a wonderful day - we'll look forward to hearing about it!

  7. Oh what fun...a field trip. I'll be waiting to hear what you are up to.
Congratulations on the sweet little grand niece...

  8. adorable, love her name!

have a great field trip tomorrow.

  9. A beautiful baby girl and proud mama too!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your son and hope he's will be up and about soon!

Have fun with the MGs - I know you will :)

  10. Awww ... she is so precious. What a sweetie and a cute name too.
I look forward to hearing about your adventures.

  11. Nice photos and how the family keeps growing...In my heart I'm along with all you gals...maybe next year.

  12. What a sweet little one.
Enjoy the time away with the farmer's wives...I'll be back to see the fun.

  13. Lovely to meet your great niece Judy. Enjoy your trip with the other farm ladies!

  14. So sweet! I know they must be so happy to have their little girl safely in their arms!

  15. What a beautiful mother and baby! I am sure she was so blessed by the party you shared with both of them. Now we have another name in common in that we have an Annie Claire and you have a Nola Claire.

Can't wait to hear what you are up to next. So thankful that we can be in with the fun.

  16. Nola is a darling little thing --- so peaceful and petite. Congratulations to you and all her family.

  17. Welcome to the world Nola! She is such a precious baby. I am enjoying my new grandson so much this week. He is a very good baby and my oldest has kept us laughing with all his charm and good nature. It will be a very happy Easter for us this year!
