From the rising of the sun, to the place where it sets
...the name of the Lord is to be praised.
Psalm 113:3 niv
We hadn't planned to be watching the sun from this particular spot...as our picnic had long ended and we were on our way home. But we ran into friends...and stood and chatted...until the last of the sun's rays had dipped from sight. The sunset was amazing...and as we left for home...it was easy to sing praises to the Lord...the Almighty...the King of creation.
You're living a wonderful life! (Now I know that into every life a little rain must fall, but you describe your life in amazing ways and from a grateful heart.)
ReplyDeleteThat view inspires me to praise too, Judy. I've never seen a sunset there, as I've only ever stayed overnight in February or March and it's always seems to be raining at that time of year. There's nothing like a sunny afternoon looking at that lake, though, and I'll be back there in August.........maybe I'll stay there for dinner and the sunset.
ReplyDeleteI join in praise with you. The praise the Lord bloggers. I guess that is us. A blessing to me.

And, what a special show He gave you. I'm so glad you shared with us.
ReplyDeleteI had a nice e-mail from your sister.
Gorgeous!!! I remember singing that scripture in a chorus in youth group years ago!
ReplyDeleteIt is a good day to sing praises unto the LORD!!
Blessings~~~
Such beauty from His hand certainly inspires our praises, doesn't it!
ReplyDeleteA gift for you, His beloved child. I think He blesses us with many gifts along our journey. Some we see and some we miss. This picture is breathtaking. Thanks for the inspiring verse too.
