Bellingrath Gardens ~
Mobile, Alabama
For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations. Isaiah 61:11 NKJV
Surely you are in a hoop skirt too!
ReplyDeleteThat scene couldn't be anywhere else in the world.
It amazes me as to how God works. That verse is so appropriate for that lovely setting.
ReplyDeleteNow that's a dress! Sweet scripture today, too...
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed Sunday! Love traveling with you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing that promise today.
ReplyDeleteNow that's what I call wearing your Sunday Best! And only a Canadian would properly spell y'all! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI can tell you are starting to pick up the accent!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture and verse.....Enjoy!
Oh wow...I visited Bellingrath gardens in 1966. The girls in hoop skirts weren't about the garden that day. That was my first experience with a nationally noted garden; it was so frustrating to have but a 12 shot film roll available to me for capturing all the beauty. I was just turned 13, and my next jaw dropping garden visit was Butchart garden on Victoria Island three years later. From there I have never passed up a chance to visit a noteworthy garden while traveling.
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvelous photo! Looks like you are really enjoying your Southern experience, and I see the temperatures are very balmy too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot! Beautiful and so spring like. My goodness, not that warm here. Have a great time!
ReplyDeleteWow...that's some dress! Now where's a photo of you in yours?
ReplyDeleteThat is truly a a lovely photo of a beautiful "Southern Belle," Judy!
ReplyDeleteJust a perfect Sunday dress.
ReplyDeleteLove this postcard! So fabulous!
