Bellingrath Gardens ~

For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.  Isaiah 61:11 NKJV

  2. It amazes me as to how God works. That verse is so appropriate for that lovely setting.

  8. Oh wow...I visited Bellingrath gardens in 1966. The girls in hoop skirts weren't about the garden that day. That was my first experience with a nationally noted garden; it was so frustrating to have but a 12 shot film roll available to me for capturing all the beauty. I was just turned 13, and my next jaw dropping garden visit was Butchart garden on Victoria Island three years later. From there I have never passed up a chance to visit a noteworthy garden while traveling.
