brighten the corner...

It seems a long time since we have seen the sun...
and anything that lights up a grey and dreary day...
is a welcome treat.

The pink dogwood is blooming happily despite the drizzle...
and brightening up the corner where it hides.

And here's your smile for the day...

...a one room cottage with no windows!

Oh...and it's up on the hill...with a lovely view.

Have a great day!

  5. It could come in handy just staying right there.

  6. I'm longing for sunshine and warmer days - as is my little garden! But looking for the bright spots in every day is a great way to cheer up! I wonder what is the price of that piece of real estate!

  7. I don't think I'll be making an offer on that particular 'cottage'. LOL.

  8. Now that is funny! Back when my sister and I were looking for land to buy, we decided that the cemetery offering "lots for sale" instead of plots, might be affordable. Lovely grounds too!

How many days of rain is this? I hope it's not all coming here, but it is raining today.

  11. There have been a few times in my when I would have paid quite a bit for a cottage like this one on the hill:)like the time I was horseback riding with a group of friends in the mountains. You are right, it did make me smile. Only you could post a picture like that and have it be a fun post. I hope the sun soon shines for you.

In Portland we keep having rain, too, and they say it's going to rain the rest of this week! Kelli in Texas says its in the 90's there, and Rebecca's kids in PA are playing in the sprinklers...My plants want som sun badly!
