My Rock

The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer:
my God is my rock in whom I take refuge,
He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation,
my stronghold. Psalms 18:2

He alone is my rock and my salvation;
He is my fortress, I will never be shaken. Psalms 62:6

When the storms of life come my way, I am reminded that I have a Fortress where I can rest.

  1. Thank you for those uplifting words, Judy and the pics that go so well with them!

  2. Don't you love that line from the old hymn..."He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock that shadows a dry, thirsty land"? That's what your post reminds me of. Hope you had a great weekend!

  3. Your words remind me, Judy, to thank our God, our Rock, our Strength. thank you. And I love the hymn that Vee referred to. Dairymary

  4. I have been to Montezuma! Awesome. I recognized it immediately. I was a newly recommitted Christian and I just sat inside one of those dwellings and just got quiet. I would have stayed longer except I was traveling as an adult with my parents and they were definitely calling the shots. The scripture works great with this photo!

    P.S. I'm glad that you like the napkin fold. If you scroll down to the bottom right sidebar, I have my Christmas Tree fold, an original, listed under napkins or napkin folds.
