spring forward...

Make the most of the sunshine...

...enjoy those sunny evenings by turning your clock ahead tonight!

After a week of sunshine and warm temperatures, we have drizzle this morning. I have been walking past my eagle's nest daily...and the eagle is still sitting atop it's lofty perch. I am reluctant to get too close, lest I disturb it...but maybe I will attempt a picture from the distance one day. My new pedometer (made be Sportline...thanks for the tips) works just fine...when I remember to attach it! I averaged about 10,000 steps each day this week...my highest count being 12,000 on Tuesday when I had Ranen here for the day. Kids do keep you on your toes...and the pedometer reminds you when you have been sitting far too long.

And hubby was excused from jury duty on Monday when the accused failed to show up at the courthouse. His presence is requested once again in April.

We enjoyed a Chinese food dinner with friends last night...and since the Chinese make better tea than coffee, we stopped by Tim Horton's on the way home to have our java fix. We rolled up seven rims to win...and lost on every count! And so ended our first real week of spring in the valley.

Enjoy your weekend,

  1. Thanks for the reminder about the time change. I love time change even when it doesn't treat me so well for a week or two.

Forgot to tell you that I stopped for Dunkin' Donuts coffee yesterday. It was delicious, but I would've vastly preferred Tim Horton's, which I could've had since there's one right next door to DD except for one feature. Horton's doesn't offer a thermal cup. So, if I am not stopping, I always go with the DD. If I am stopping, I always go for the TH.

  2. Oh, I was also going to say that if I were wearing a pedometer, it would think that I had died. LOL!
