walkin' in the sunshine

I was once again struck by the beauty of the world around me this week...as I took a scenic drive into our coastal mountains. Sunshine on snow-capped peaks...rainbows and waterfalls...rushing rivers and bubbling brooks...dappled sunlight through the branches of mighty trees...and deer beside the trail. What beauty is mine to enjoy!

Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all His benefits.
Psalm 103:2

Have a blessed Sunday...

  1. What a gift this beautiful province is to all of us who live here.
That tree looks an awful lot like the one that came down here on Wednesday.

  2. You do have a wonderful gift, and then you gift all of us by sharing.

  3. So true...and how often we see that beauty without really seeing it. Thanks for the reminder!

  4. Yes, yes, yes! Yesterday my best friend (Mermaid Debbie) and I spent the day outdoors. We were actually doing yard work at her lovely lake home. The trees sounds in the wind, the bird calls on the water, the buzzing of bees, all say God is good. Happy Sunday to you, too!

  6. Yes, all that beauty straight from the hand of God! It's wonderful that it is so near for your enjoyment and it brings to my own mind those few times I've been privileged to visit and enjoy similar places.

Thanks for your comment on my post. I'm not really so organized....the suitcase is unpacked again!

I'm taking my camera...that's the most important thing, and will share everything when we get back.
