a perfect day to be thankful...

Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them,
is the true measure of our thanksgiving.
W.T. Purkiser

It seems like the perfect day to be thankful...
regardless of which country I live in.

I wish all of you...my American friends and family who are gathering around a table somewhere today...a most blessed Thanksgiving celebration.

It's Camp Grammy over here for a few days...Emme, Spencer and Ryder came with their overnight bags. Ranen will join us for awhile today...and we'll have a fun time. As long as I remember who needs to be picked up where...and at what time...it will all be good. So I too have family gathered around my table...nothing fancy on the menu though. We will think of you and your pecan pie...as we eat red finger jello.

Enjoy the day...

  8. Thank you Judy! We had a quiet Thanksgiving but that was good, as I need to rest my stress fractured foot to help it heal. I cooked and husband washed dishes and did everything else. No pecan pie -- we love pumpkin pie! :-)

I'm sure both grandchildren and grandparents will have a good time at your house! Enjoy them!

  10. Speaking of red jello, this morning I realized I had forgotten to serve my cran-raspberry jello at our feast yesterday! It was in the extra refrigerator downstairs! So today we are having new jello with leftover everything else =)
