we stand on guard for thee...

It seemed someone thought hubby did not look quite patriotic enough...and so he was provided with the appropriate jersey for our trip into the heart of the Olympics yesterday.

We have never before looked so Canadian...even my hair was 'standing on guard' in the wind. It is the uniform of choice these days!

The sun was shining...it was the perfect day for an outing...and we had a fabulous time. I'll tell you about it...later.

  1. You both should receive a prize for showing a true patriotic spirit. This picture is the best!!! We are really enjoying watching the Olympics here.

  11. What a great blog - concise and to the point. That's meant to be a compliment!

How I envy your being at the Olympics (love the house decorations, by the way). My best travel moment ever was being in Canada for a big ice hockey match - so exciting and not possible in the UK.

Because of the time difference I have to watch Whistler on tv at 3am. It's just started snowing here - which it doesn't do a great deal - so at least it's adding to the atmosphere.
